We are looking for a highly energized, self-directed professional with excellent communication and public relations skills. This person will be responsible for the following: develop and publish agency newsletter, proof reading agency correspondence, coordinate and attend fund raising activities, coordinate and attend municipality meetings on behalf of DEH. Experience in grant writing, journalism or public relations preferred.

We are looking for caring people to work with children with special needs in and around Hancock and Penobscot counties. Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or adults with developmental and behavioral needs, or life experience. Applicant must be able to complete BHP, Mandt, first aid and CPR training.
