The Downeast Horizons Children Services Program began a local holiday tradition by volunteering their time wrapping gifts for others in need. This event was made possible with help from the Ellsworth DHHS office.

Machias Savings Bank employees recently held a “Dress Down” Day to benefit Downeast Horizons and raised a total of $660. Since 1974, Downeast Horizons, a nonprofit organization, has been devoted to the establishment of community-based services for local people with developmental disabilities and their families.
