Today, program participants and staff from Downeast Horizons enjoyed a fun and educational visit to the Oceanarium in Bar Harbor!Everyone had a wonderful time exploring Maine’s incredible marine life through the interactive touch tank experience. Participants had the opportunity to get up close with fascinating sea creatures, including sea stars, horseshoe crabs, shells, and other tide pool animals while learning all about the unique ecosystems along Maine’s coast.
It was a day filled with hands-on learning, curiosity, laughter, and new experiences. Thank you to the Oceanarium staff for providing such an engaging and memorable visit—we had a fantastic time!
