We are currently looking for Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities in various aspects of their daily living. Our support will help the individuals we serve to live complete and fulfilling lives.

Full time positions available including schedules offering daytime, afternoon, & evening shifts. Downeast Horizons offers a newly updated competitive starting wage for DSP’s. Our DSP positions are in Hancock County.

Immediate need for BHP’s in our Children’s program in Hancock , Penobscot & Piscataquis Counties.

*** STARTING WAGE FOR BHPS IS UP TO $19.00 *** with a Sign on Bonus for BHP’s. *** For Ellsworth BHP’s please call 667-7464 for more information on wage and Sign on bonus as we are offering an incentive to work as a BHP in Ellsworth****** Behavioral Health Professionals (BHP) support the children that we serve to do fun activities such as:

Play board games, Go to the playground, Meal plan, shopping, and cooking, Go hiking and Go swimming.

These activities allow the children that we serve to learn social skills, maintain friendships, process emotions, community safety skills and so much more – ALL WHILE HAVING FUN!

These are part time positions that offer flexible scheduling, part time employees earn paid time off and are eligible to participate in 401K retirement.

Downeast Horizons provides all training needed to become a DSP or BHP.
