Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are an important resource to Downeast Horizons. Our volunteer opportunities vary from actively assisting with the people we support alongside a Direct Support Professional to assisting with Special Olympics, fund-raising, critical office support, or maintenance and janitorial support. Each hour of volunteering helps!

Thank you to all of our DEH Volunteers!

We welcome individuals of all ages. Students can meet community service requirements and businesses can reach out to the community with corporate volunteers.

Retired professionals have many skills that are an asset to our needs such as: organizational and problem solving, fund-raising, speaking experience, and professional expertise in health, nutrition, accounting and many other areas.
